878 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Low Sound"

This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.

This is a 'epic' rolling-thunder with multiple strikes. It is a combination of the following freesound. Org sounds:thunder by netajthunder 01 by olliehahn12thunder 1 by yoyodaman234. The goal was to get some 'theater friendly' thunder version that has the low base rumbling and also some sharp/crispy parts. This is the same as https://freesound. File contains a second collection of 4 or 5 creepy, clichéd "hypno-tones" in the theremin's lowest ranges, each separated with 5 seconds of silence. Each hypnotone in the file uses a different waveform/tonal setting to give you various textural choices. As always, these sounds are recorded "dry" so that you can tweak and tweeze, add effects, overdub and mangle them any way you like.

This is a fragment from the aria ah mes amis at a lower pitch and badly performed. Iintend to use it for a coursera homework (audio signal processing for music applications). The intention is to transpose it and simulate a morfing like a falseto to the true key where the tenor hits high c, which i obviously cannot hit, otherwise i wouldn't be taking coursera courses and uploading to freesound. . .

Heard a barred owl calling in my backyard. Grabbed my zoom h4n with audio-technica at897 shotgun mic and started recording. Did some minor equalization to soften the higher frequencies and roll off the low end. Crickets are chirping in the background, a few other insects make some sounds. Soft droning of a couple planes flying by and vehicles from a highway about a mile away, but do not overpower the barred owl.

Feedback loop involving jupiter storm, a-147-2vcdlfo and a-101-1 vactrol vcfcv injected from 2 x sloth and intellijel quadra expander in quadra moodsome spring reverb. After ~1min i switch "noise core disruptor" (jupiter storm) off. Evaluation of patch/soundone cycle is about 28 sec - goodonly short sounds - badamplitude variation - goodpitch variation - goodtimbre variation - goodmusical value - low to mediumentertaining - high, or what?. Remix of wierd chimes. Wavhttp://freesound. Org/people/kwahmah_02/sounds/250253/which was a recording of a shortwave broadcast in am mode received in usb mode 1khz off frequency. I used goldwave's mechanize feature at 10000khz, then applied low pass filter at 10000 khz to filter out the newly created upper sideband, then i used mechanize again at 9000 khz, which tuned in the recording just like if i had a tuneable receiver.

Recording of a day of the dead celebration at the museum of native american history in washington, d. C. (2014) features drumming, flute playing, chanting, yelling / whooping, whip crack sounds. Drenched in natural reverb (recorded from top floor of a circular performance space with a stone ceiling), with lots of low-frequency rumble. Possible use: could be processed for horror ambience.

A diesel train flushing out the condensation from a particular valve, as i am told. Sounds like electricity sparking or something. It was quite loud, my gain was set extremely low, enough that i didn't pick up any of the road traffic with cars passing a few feet behind me. Recorded at the side of a lake on easter 2023. You can hear the wind rustling through the trees. Some background noises are audible, including passersby and what sounds like a camera shutter. Sea waves on a windy beach rolling around from left to right and right to left, with sounds of spume and sand moved by the water. Recorded september 2012 at the northern beach of fehmarn island, germany, near niobe memorial. Recorded using a pair of rode nt5 mics in x/y positioning with nikolai windshields. Eqed with eq10q: low cut at 41hz, +4. 5db q0. 43 at 142hz, -3. 7db q0. 70 at 1980hz. Normalized in audacity.

A close up recording of an overheating usb slot-loading cd/dvd drive that repeatedly tries to spin up, but fails and makes some clicking noises. Note on low frequency sounds: i recorded this with a zoom h1n recorder at about 2cm distance from the drive slot. I held the recorder in my hand and rested my hand on the surface the cd drive was resting on, so there is somewhat of a mechanical connection between the drive's vibrations and the recorder. I believe this led to the low frequency parts of the recording. About halfway through the recording, i lifted the drive up with my other hand and held it at a 30degree angle to the surface and recorder. As you can hear in the recording, this made it spin up a little longer before failing and spinning back down.

Nature, and man-made machines, wake up on a saturday in a small town in southern illinois. Even though getting "away from it all" and experiencing nature in the deep woods, or a quiet field is very enjoyable, let's not forget that nature often lives and thrives side-by-side with us. I recorded this in my back yard on saturday april 27th, 2013 at 6:45 am and you'll hear the low, but everpresent low rumble of a distant train throughout. But, over and above you hear the incredible variety of calls and sounds made by a family of starlings who seem oblivious to the iron horse and the occasional car. We had rain the night before, so every now and then you hear a loud "plop" as a breeze cuts loose fat rain-drop and it hits the foam wind-screen on my h4n. Starting at around 3:47 and running to 4:08 a cardinal makes a strong appearance. I made this recording using my zoom h4n recorder, using it's internal built-in stereo microphones, with the recording gain on 81, out of 100. Enjoy!.

(loud!). Lol i record my voice while playing video games now so that i can save certain things i say, you know, for real reactions to use for cartoons and stuff. A lot of my voice clips are from playing games with jumpscares, and that's where my screams and ooooooohs come from. I used to scream all the time when playing jumpscare games, but now it's turned into some weird growl thing or somethin, i dunno. So yeah, lots of clips. There are tons of clips that i'm not uploading though. They are exclusively mine!. And for those using my sounds, i am so thrilled xd.

Clean recording of various sounds that would occur when maneuvering around an office space (specifically a desk) and manipulating common office objects. Recording features lots of paper rustling and sliding across a wooden desk, handling pens and a stapler, stuffing manila folders and plastic binders, and towards the end there are some sounds of small-medium sized personal bag being unzipped and zipped and then being filled with some of the office materials. Should work great for filling in general office noises in a scene or reinforcing actions that involve any of the materials featured in the recording. There should be enough variety to allow you to glean more isolated sounds or just use assortments of layered sounds. Recorded with an akg p170 into a tascam 208i audio interface at 48khz/24-bit. Microphone was positioned roughly 1. 5 - 2 feet away from the source. There is some slight room reverb present, which is intentional, and should match common office workspaces well. An 85hz high-pass filter was applied to remove any unintentional, unnatural low-frequency rumbling that may have been picked up during recording.

A complete trip on métro (subway) line 9 of the paris subway system, from the alma-marceau station to the havre-caumartin station. Starts with descent into the métro station and ends climbing up the steps back out at the destination. One train is allowed to pass, at about the 1-minute mark, as we wait on the platform, and an announcement giving the times for the next trains can be heard. The ride on the following train begins at around the 2-minute mark. There are two loud sounds between about 9:10 and 9:20 and some loud low-frequency wind noise at around 10:40 (as we leave the métro station and return outside), so beware. Recording with zoom h4n, originally 96 khz/24 bits, uploaded as mp3 320 kbps because the wav was so big (almost 500 mb).

I found this fairly small low area, in deep woods, with about 5 inches of water in it. I wouldn't really say it is a pond because it will probably be dry in a month or so after the spring rains. (i think ecologists would call this small body of water an "ephemeral" pond). These spring peepers were putting on quite a chorus as the sun was going down. You'll hear a different sounding frog - or peeper - several times in: at 9 seconds in, 13 seconds in and 15 seconds in. When i first heard it, it sounded like a creaky door! hope you find this fascinating and enjoyable as well. Would make a great soundtrack for a swampy piece. Recorded using my trusty rode ntg-2 going into a zoom h4n recorder.

Note: the high-pitched squeaks are artifacts from freesound's preview and aren't present in the actual recording. 10 minutes of a thunderstorm, recorded september 7th, 2019 from my apartment window in seattle. This is the raw recording straight from my zoom h5. Levels were kept low to minimize the chance of clipping. A few thunder sounds were still too loud, but luckily the h5 has a backup function that recorded an identical track 12 db quieter. I've uploaded that as well, so you can splice the two together to taste. Eventually i'll release a processed version with the two combined, plus compression and eq, but i wanted to upload the source material in case you'd prefer to diy it.

A piece of music i made in garageband for something called victors crypt. The tune starts out with a bassline, pretty slow. But when the beats come in it's a pretty fast paced piece. Kept things simple and just added some low pitched strings and, voices and some reverbed sounds. It ends in a kind of mysterious and spooky way. Suited for anything dark, spooky, eerie, suspence, thrilling for instance. Think it would work great to a game, youtube-channel or episode, movie or whatever you feel like. This sounds as if it were staged by hollywood, but it actually did happen, i swear! birds chirp away to set the scene, but a beefy thunder roll intrudes. Soon after, raindrops begin to fall as if on cue. Theres a little handling noise click in the begining that is easy to crop out if you like. The recording is unedited. At 1:35 i move the mics closer to the deck so you can hear the splashing. At about at 3:10 i you’ll hear a different timbre as i move away from the rain and under an awning. About 3:45 the rain settles down and the birds start chirping again. Hopefully there are some useful segments in here. Recorded with a dead cat on a tascam dr-05 at 48khz 24 bit, then compressed with “lame --preset insane --scale 10” to make up for the low gain i used (i was afraid a thunderclap would engage the limiter). So these are all real reactions to certain things i do, i. E, video games, narrations, etc. I myself need genuinely real vocal reactions. I often look for voice clips here on freesound, and there's just some stuff that isn't here. I know i'm not the only one, either, so i post mine as well so others may use them. Interestingly, i've gotten one person who took the time to uh. . . Tell me how they. . . Disapproved of my voice clips, so i just wanted to say that if you wanna use them, do, if not, don't, that's why they are there. I enjoy animating, and others do too, wanting to use others' voice clips. I also had a couple people make techno remixes of a lot of my sounds (thank you by the way, they're awesome). It's not that i care about the. . . Interesting way the one person expressed their opinion, it's just to let some similar acting people know that i post these for a reason. *shrug* but whatever floats your zeppelin, i honestly don't care. Anyway, for those who do use them, thank you. :p.

I combined an ambient bar crowd recording that i found here with a funky little back beat that i also found on this site and made a great cubicle noise blocker / filter. I use this at work with headphones on when i'm trying to concentrate and drown out conversations in the office. Also good for when i work from home and i'm trying to drown out the tv and other distractions. The crowd noise is excellent at diffusing regular office conversation and the little funky back beat keeps the crowd noise from getting boring. This works really well even at fairly low volume i. E. You dont have to crank it loud to drown out the distractions. Hope you like it and thanks to everyone for the great sounds on this site.
